WEEK 5

Title of Activity : Block Diagram

Objective : To show how the system operates, what are its inputs and outputs at various stages

Content/ Procedure :

This week , I will update about block diagram of the Vacuum Robot. It shows data flow between separate units of function

Figure 1 :Block Diagram of the Vacuum Robot

Result and analysis :

Ultrasonic Distance Sensor

- Generate high frequency sound waves and evaluate the echo which is received back by the sensor, measuring the time interval between sending the signal and receiving the echo to determine the distance to an object.

Arduino Microcontroler

- The Arduino Uno is a microcontroller board based on the ATmega32.It has 14 digital input/output pins (of which 6 can be used as PWM outputs), 6 analog inputs, a 16 MHz ceramic resonator, a USB connection, a power jack, an ICSP header, and a reset button. It contains everything needed to support the microcontroller, simply connect it to a computer with a USB cable or power it with a AC-to-DC adapter or battery to get started.(Details in week 4)

Motor Drive

- This motor drive allow Arduino to drive or controlled Dc motor

Output DC motor

- Mechanically Commuted electric motor powered from direct current(DC)

LCD

- To display the number of distance between sensors from the wall

 Conclusions :

This week I have learned about the blog diagram which show how the system operates, what are its inputs and outputs at various stages. This blog diagram also show the function of each various stages of my project
